Product Feature Spotlight: Branches

The Branch functionality gives Enterprise Customers the ability to create a multi-level customer structure to enable complex distribution and branch level admin delegation. Branch Admins are created by the customer and given access to the Branch portal on the Xvoucher platform which gives them the ability to assign vouchers and track candidate progress of only their assigned vouchers.

Key Benefits

  • Ability to distribute and recall vouchers to your Branch Admins (such as team leads, department heads, specific groups within your organization, etc.)
  • Extensive tracking of items all the way to the end user
  • Ability to create multiple branches under a parent branch
  • Insight into different departmental uses
  • Branch Admins will only be able to see and distribute the products that the Customer has assigned to them
  • Branch Admins can also create branches under their account

How it works:

Enterprise customers can create a branch within the Manage function on the Enterprise portal. By setting up branches, Enterprise customers are creating the ability to distribute learning products to an assigned admin who will then have access to the Xvoucher platform, with limited capabilities, to distribute their assigned vouchers. The Enterprise customer will still have complete control over the learning products as well as visibility down to the end-user. Branch admins can also create branches beneath them if they require the ability to also distribute learning products to a branch below them, the enterprise customer can view all of their branches and sub-branches from their Manage Branches screen.

If your organization has multiple departments with multiple department heads, using the branch feature will give you the ability to delegate learning products to each head.

The branch function gives the heads of those departments the ability to manage their own learning products while keeping your entire organization’s learning budget under control and viewable from the Enterprise customer dashboard.

Enterprise Customer View: Manage Branches

Use Case Example:

Enterprise Customer, Inc. currently uses the Xvoucher platform to distribute learning products to their employees. With over 20 different departments in their organization, all the department heads currently send an email to Linda, the Enterprise Administrator, asking to assign a voucher each time they want an employee to receive an exam voucher. With the use of Branches, Linda can now create a branch and make Jerry, the head of the Design Department, the Branch Administrator. Jerry receives an email letting him know he has been assigned 50 Exam vouchers; he logs into the Xvoucher platform where he now has the ability to distribute an Exam voucher whenever he needs to without contacting the Enterprise Administrator. Linda maintains the ability to track the vouchers and recall any unused vouchers if they are no longer needed by Jerry or if they need to be allocated to a different department.
