These updates are to ensure the exams reflect the latest best practices per the AWS Well-Architected Framework and latest industry trends and enterprise needs. Please click here to view the changes.
What does this mean for SAA exam candidates?
- If you have distributed associate-level vouchers to candidates and they have prepared for the current AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C02) exam, be sure to advise them to take the exam before August 29, 2022.
- From August 30, 2022, candidates will need to prepare and sit for the new AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate exam (SAA-C03).
- The exam domains in the updated outline are similar, but the weight of each domain has changed.
What does this mean for SAP exam candidates?
- If you have distributed professional-level vouchers to candidates and they have prepared for the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional - exam, be sure to advise that they take the current (SAP-C01) exam before November 14, 2022.
- Registration for the updated AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (SAP-C02) exam opens October 18, 2022.
- November 15, 2022 and beyond, candidates will need to prepare and sit for the new exam (SAP-C02).
- There are a few changes to this exam, as the domains and the weighting of each domain has changed.
